Relative 13C to 12C molar ratio assimilation by a plant is a function of time stomata remain open during plant life time, itself a function of moisture stress. The purpose of this study was to test the existence of any relationship between stomatal conductance and assimilation rate and final yield of treatment. The field experiment was established in Why College Estate, Kent, England. Employing the repeated measures method for statical analysis suggests no significant differences between subjects and no significant time interaction effects, The only significant subject was time effect itself (P=0.0001), suggesting an increasing Delta value for maize as a consequence of age and consequently accumulation carbon dioxide in crop. Although the extra yield production by heavy mulch and incorporation could be attributed to their extra canopy production (ground cover), the extra yield by light mulch with the same canopy cover as control and ammonium nitrate fertilizer (compost mulch treatment, at 100 t/ha versus compost incorporation treatment, at 50 t/ha) requires greater rates of carbon dioxide assimilation, which in this experiment is not attribute to the Delta value and hence stomotal conductance, (i.e. other unknown physiological processes might enhance carbon assimilation without affecting stomotal conductance). If the result from carbon discrimination in this experiment are reliable, they elude other factors involved in carbon dioxide assimilation rather than stomotal conductance.}, keywords = {13C/12C assimilation by maize,Compost incorporation and mulch,Bare soil evaporation}, title_fa = {بررسی تبعیض ایزوتوپ‌های کربن (13C و 12C) برای برآورد تنش رطوبتی ذرت}, abstract_fa = {تنش رطوبتی موجب بسته شدن روزنه‌های برگ گیاه و کاهش جذب کربن می‌گردد و این عمل باعث کاهش عملکرد در کشاورزی دیم می‌شود. نسبت کربن 13 (13C) به کربن 12 (12C) اتمسفر که توسط گیاه جذب می‌شود به‌مدت زمان باز بودن روزنه‌های گیاه که به نوبه خود به‌میزان تنش رطوبتی بستگی دارد، وابسته می‌باشد. هدف از این مطالعه بررسی تبعیض ایزوتوپ‌های کربن (13C و 12C) برای برآورد تنش رطوبتی ذرت می‌باشد. مزرعه محل آزمایش در اراضی کالج امپریال در منطقه وای از استان کنت، انگلستان، بود. نتایج نشان داد تبعیض ایزوتوپ‌های 13C و 12C اختلاف معنی‌داری بین تیمارها ندارد اما تنها اثر زمان معنی‌دار بود (001/0P=) به‌طوری‌که افزایش دلتا با گذشت زمان، افزایش جذب دی‌اکسید‌کربن با افزایش سن گیاه را نشان داده اگرچه افزایش عملکرد در تیمارهای 100 تن در هکتار مالچ و 50 تن در هکتار کمپوست مخلوط ممکن است به درصد پوشش بیشتر آنها نسبت به شاهد مربوط باشد ولی میزان عملکرد بالا در تیمار 50 تن در هکتار مالچ با درصد پوشش مشابه با تیمارهای شاهد و نیترات آمونیوم به جذب بیشتر دی‌اکسیدکربن مربوط است و مقادیر دلتا در تیمار 50 تن در هکتار با تیمارهای شاهد و نیترات آمونیوم متفاوت نیست. بین تبادل روزنه‌ای و رطوبت موجود در خاک و گیاه رابطه‌ای مستقیمی برقرار است و از آنجایی‌که تبادل روزنه‌ای محدودیتی در جذب کربن برای برای تیمار 50 تن در هکتار مالچ سطحی ایجاد نکرد، بنابراین این امر نشان می‌دهد عوامل دیگری غیر از هدایت آبی روزنه‌ها و آب قابل استفاده گیاه، جذب کربن و رشد گیاه را محدود می‌نمایند. بنابراین، افزایش عملکرد ذرت با کاربرد کمپوست به‌دلیل افزایش ذخیره آب خاک با این تیمار نبود بلکه دیگر عوامل تغذیه باید در نظر گرفته شوند.}, keywords_fa = {ایزوتوپ‌های 12 و 13 کربن,تنش رطوبتی,کمپوست,مالچ و ذرت}, url = {https://jopp.gau.ac.ir/article_362.html}, eprint = {https://jopp.gau.ac.ir/article_362_141a65dedd10ec5dc581bb35bfa58c0c.pdf} }
